Vitalia specializes in advising clients on matters related to taxation in the Russian Federation, the CIS countries and the EU, currency and customs legislation, and also has extensive experience in representing the interests of principals in court.

She is a certified translator in the field of professional communication (English).

Prior to joining the Aronov & Partners team, she worked for the Big Four company, and in leading Russian law firms.

• Setting aside the judgment of the court against the principal, convicted on two episodes, part 4 of article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, in the court of cassation with transfer of the case for further consideration.
• Termination of the criminal case under part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation due to absence of the event of crime at the time of pre-trial investigation.
• Release of property of the principal from attachment, not subjected to criminal prosecution, upon entry into force of the judgment.
• Successful representation of interests of the Russian steel company in the commercial dispute, as a result of which it was possible to convince the court of real nature of the transaction disputed by the counterparty.
• Rаfund from the budget of the Russian Federation of overpayments amounting to more than 1,5 billion rubles in a dispute between an international car dealer and customs authorities.
• Reduction of a number of tax claims by more than 20 times filed on the basis of the result of field tax inspection conducted in respect of the Russian subsidiary of international pharmaceutical group.
